Daddy's Little Girl was designed over a two year period, followed by 12 months and 1100 hours of crafting this intricate design. It is created almost entirely of Youghiogheny Stipple Glass, the finest Tiffany-style reproduction glass, and is accented with German faceted jewels. The window is reinforced with a 3/4" brass border and two 3/8" vertical and horizontal reinforcement bars. The frame is Black Walnut (not shown) with a stained glass floral mosaic inlay centered on all four sides of the frame. A 1/2 " glass band connects each floral section continuing the theme of stained glass into the frame.

The oval at the bottom of "Daddy's Little Girl" contains a poem by the artist that reads:

Like the moment you are weightless
So seem the years you spend with me
Someday over the mountains you will journey
You have your dreams to see
But in awhile, for awhile
Come back and be with me.

Memories are a moment in time, a place where time stood still. "Daddy's Little Girl" and the accompanying poem reflect the artist imaginary moment of a treasured time. A time of beauty, freedom, happiness, contentment, love, and a wholesome sense of innocence.
